It draws on the strength of faith while acknowledging both the uncertainty of difficulties that came up and the willingness to follow the Lord for provision in each turn. It also practically lays out the turns and potential challenges of the decision to support your daughter and her new born son. Finally it gathers all of the life experiences to that paint a backdrop for the preparation God has to lead you through each step of the journey. Like other readers this was a book that I found you could not put down and one that would be highly recommended for young men and women as well as the parents that love and care for them. As you read you could feel the moving of the Holy Spirit on each page as the comforter and guide for the path this family followed. As a final bonus sports minded readers will appreciate the discipline and practical insight a life focused on organized sports has had in forming experiences that are used as an integral part of the tapestry to tell the story!

Cheryl Kirby Had a few minutes and sat down to skim through the first chapter and the next thing I knew, I had read the whole book at one sitting -- truly inspirational, a must for every parent, whether you have daughters or sons. I teared up, I got angry, I felt inspired -- you go through the gamet of emotions with this one. So much to identify with; so much to learn from. Dick Williams is a writer who will make a positive difference in so many lives with this book. His story and his daughter's journey have inspired me and reminded me to appreciate the blessings in my life, and to know that I can handle the challenges that come my way, gracefully and respectfully, because there will be challenges -- they are a fact of life. I look forward to reading more from him. And I look forward to sharing this book with the grandkids who are quickly growing up.

Nelson Brikho "Amy Brikho" (Troy, MI) This book was absolutely amazing. It was so nice to read how the Williams family handled their situation with Molly and disappointing to see how the James family handled it. I was very impressed with how knowledgable and respectful the Williams family was and how they allowed their trust in God to help guide them through the tough times they were facing. For a young girl to become an adult so fast, I was truly impressed by her. The Holy Spirit will stay with this family always for the tremendous amount of faith they have and the love they have for one another. The support they have is amazing and wish them the best. I could not put this book down when i started reading it and I recommend this book to everyone. This book was written for a great cause, and I would recommend it to anyone who might face adversity in their lives (Everyone!).

STL Today What a great gift the author has shared with us. It is so funny how life unfolds in ways that we would never dream. Although I am a parent of two young boys, this story is relevant to all of our lives in so many ways. This books shares the ups and downs of life, it teaches us to rely on a higher power. I loved the analogies of sports as it related to life. Thank you Mr. Williams for sharing your journey with us. There are certainly lessons to be learned when you "Buckle Your Chin Strap"!!!

S. Anderson This was a very powerful personal hearfelt story of a father's love for his daughter and her child. I cried and cheered for the whole family. All teenagers should read this book.

Williams opens up his heart, and mind in a great guide to how he along with God, and life lessons learned from football can get you through anything. I could not put this book down. D. Richardson "Debbie" (Jackson, MI USA) This book is a MUST read! It is written from a Father's perspective and definitely from his heart. It will help parents as well as young pregnant teenage girls to understand what is involved with a teenage pregnancy. I believe this is a book that should be read by all young teenage girls, it will give them tremendous insight.
